More Stunnning Chains

Substantial and purposeful chains are still in this fall..and does it really matter, we all know that a substantial chain complements a fall outfit perfectly. Here are a few more neck accents to drool over, this time from Ach Ach Liebling in San Francisco.

Ach Ach Liebling founder and designer Joanna Petrone's has a lit. degree from Stanford and trained as a jewelry designer at Revere Academy. Her pieces are utterly unique and memorable.

Wardrobe Search

Ever wondered how you could wear that fuschia pink headband, or that gold belt you bought 3 seasons ago? Well, now you can search Weardrobe and find out.

Weardrobe is a community of people, their fashion and their style. Search for specific items and see how others have pulled it off (be warned...this is very addictive).

Framed in Wood

When fall is just around the corner, I am always reminded of falling leaves and tress, and what could make a bigger statement for fall then a touch of wood.

'304' in Zebrawood

iWood is a US company that produces wood framed glasses. Only a select few are manufactured per year. The use of wood also allows the frames to be very lightweight.

'413' in Teakwood

With wood sourced internationally, lenses from Italy and assembly in the USA, you are sure to make an internationally admired statement this fall.

Off to Paris...

If you didn’t get a chance to jet off to Paris this summer because of the rising Euro and gas prices, be sure to pick up Bryce Corbett’s book 'A Town Like Paris.'

Here is a snippet of the synopsis:
In an attempt to save his nine-year relationship with his high school sweetheart, Corbett follows her from Sydney to London. His efforts prove ineffectual and the two break up within weeks of his arrival. On a whim, 28-year-old Corbett applies for the position as head of public relations for a government organization based in Paris. Although he has little PR experience—or interest in the job itself—he is offered and accepts the position, living the French belief that people should work to live and not live to work. Corbett balances his boring formal office life with various exploits involving nightly debauchery. As an expatriate, his experiences with the French government, the French Plumber's Union and the various crazies who make up his Le Marais neighborhood are entertaining.”

We are so pleased to find out that Cake Beauty products are now paraben and petrochemical free! Yay for Cake Beauty and us.

If you have never sampled Cake Beauty…go now, because there truly is not another beauty product out there that tantalizes your nostrils and vitalizes you skins so fantastically (yup, that's how much we love Cake Beauty).

Some of our favorites:
(This was the very first Cake Beauty product that I used and have since fallen deeply in love with. I have to say that this has got to be one of the BEST gifts ever for a gal pal.)

(Yup, it’s true what they say on their site, a great product for on the go. Great for both body and hair.)

(One of my favorite scented moisturizers.)

Organic Knits

There is no denying it, the sweaters are already out in the shops. It is August and the end of summer is nearing (sorry, we had to point it out). Well, cheer up because fall shouldn't signal colder temps and drying leaves, it should signal cozy nits and less frizzy hair!

A must for fall would be a piece from Beaumont Organic. This British company, headed by Hannah Nichols, produces items made from 100% organic cotton.

By now, we all know why organic fibres are better for our bodies, the cotton growers and the environment in general. In addition, Beaumont Organic donates 1% of it annual profits to Niusawa School, in Fiji. Nicole's was touched by her experience as a teacher in Fiji and found a way for her business to continually give back.

To see more from the collection, visit Beaumont Organic here.

Shoe Love

Fridays always have us thinking about the weekend and my favorite part of weekend outfits are shoes. I am starting to think that Friday posts need to include shoes on a regular basis.

Nine West, Huilio Peep Toe Pump

Here is what caught my eye today...and yes, I admit it, I am addicted to peep toe shoes in general.
